The Wanted members Max George and Siva Kaneswaran shocked fans by cancelling upcoming dates of their reunion tour due to ‘unforeseen circumstances.’

The boyband members will hit the road for their The Wanted 2.0 tour – which doesn’t feature former bandmates Jay McGuiness and Nathan Sykes.

However, their Disneyland Florida dates will not go ahead, with Max, 36, taking to Instagram to break the news.

‘Hey everyone, especially those in Florida,’ he began in a post on his Instagram Stories.

‘We are sorry to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances, myself and Siva will not be able to perform at Disneyland as scheduled.

‘This is something COMPLETELY out of our hands and we are absolutely gutted.

‘This will NOT affect our US/ Canada fall tour and we can’t can’t wait to start October 6 in New York.

‘We promise to be back in Florida as soon as possible.. Much love..Max.’

Siva, 35, shared his own post, writing: ‘We know how much you were looking forward to it, and we were just as excited to see you all there.’

‘But don’t worry – we’re gearing up for an amazing US tour kicking off on October 6th and we promise we’ll make it back to Florida as soon as we can!

‘Thanks so much for your understanding and support we can’t wait to see you soon! Love, The Wanted 2.0.’

Max and Siva were set to perform at the popular attraction on September 22 and 23, with their next show set to take place at New York’s Sony Hall on October 6.

The duo announced the special reunion tour this year with plans for the band to perform in India for the first time.

The group stopped touring after the death of their bandmate Tom Parker, who died of glioblastoma brain cancer on March 30, 2022, at just 33 years old.

The British-Irish boy band formed in 2009 and was catapulted to international stardom with chart-topping hits such as Glad You Came and Chasing the Sun.

It remains unclear why McGuiness and Sykes won’t be performing with the band.

McGuiness previously insisted that continuing to tour as The Wanted would ‘feel weird’ in the wake of their bandmate’s passing, telling Metro.co.uk: ‘We all feel weird about making those sorts of plans without Tom.

‘We were a gang and went around the world together and it would feel odd to be doing that now as a four.’
