LAST night’s episode of Married At First Sight really did deliver.

Stephen and Hannah have had a rough few days since they tied the knot last week.

But I’ve got to say that I feel quite bad for Hannah.

The couples retreat for me was probably the lowest point of my entire experience.

The way she’s being ganged up on, I really get it…

The boys came for me during that week.

I was kept apart from the rest of the group because the boys were character assassinating me behind the scenes.

If you are as obsessed as Married At First Sight as I am, you need to keep reading, as I’ve got some thoughts...

Polly and Holly Vs Hannah

I think it’s interesting that the girls are doing the most on Hannah.

I want to touch on the scene where Holly and Polly are discussing Hannah’s actions towards Stephen.

I think it was really poorly judged by them.

They are acting like they have been friends with Stephen for quite some time.

The truth of it is that you’ve known him for two days at this point.

I get that Hannah has made some bad decisions and being a tiny bit flirty, but again, is it because Holly and Polly aren’t very secure in their relationship that they’ve taken it upon themselves to be the speakers of the group and just be really rude about Hannah behind her back.

I don’t like the fact that they called her a beg.

I think that Polly laughed when she called Hannah a beg.

But I’m like Polly would have laughed when someone called you a beg for trying to beg for an once of affection from your husband for the last four weeks?

DOUBLE STANDARDS?!

Also yes I know Hannah has been flirting with Orson…

But is anyone coming for Orson for flirting with Hannah?

I know they aren’t in happy relationships but it seems like Hannah is getting all the blame again.

Again, it’s the woman’s fault!

It’s so so bad!

I think that Stephen refusing to have any conversation with Hannah is giving Eve at the start of this season.

Every time she tries to speak to him, he leaves…I feel like she’s had enough now.

Hannan and Orson are going to recouple – get it over and done with!

But don’t make the mistake of not tell your partner first.

TONIGHT’S EPISODE

Channel 4

So last night they gave a sneak peek of what to expect tonight.

Polly is on her high horse with Hannah’s actions, condemning that she’s flirting with over men.

But then we see in a game that Polly would twist to pick Stephen over Adam.

I feel like there’s some major double standards going on.

So I’m wondering if we could see more than one recouple…

I didn’t like the enrgy from the girls in this episode.

I understand why Hannah is feeling out of the group, I’m not saying she’s innocent but I don’t like the mean girl energy and Orson is getting away with this all Scott free!

Mafs couples that have stood the test of time

Loved-up Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling of series six fame had the first Mafs baby.

The pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other on the programme and quickly found their feet in the outside world, moving into Adam’s Doncaster home.

Just 18 months after meeting, the couple welcomed their daughter Beau.

Season five couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins also managed to make their marriage work away from the cameras and had their first child in December.

Teacher Michelle, 29, has no regrets about taking part in the experiment. She told us: “I just feel very lucky and thankful that it has worked out – and excited for everything to come.”

Michelle and Owen were both sick of dating apps when they applied in 2019.

Owen recalled: “I had been out for some drinks with a friend after work.

“While he was out for a cigarette I was scrolling on Instagram waiting for him to come back in.

“The MAFS advert was the last thing I saw, and I joked, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if I signed up?’

“A few beers later when I was back at home I sent in the application, and the rest is history.”

Another couple to make Mafs UK history is Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson.

Despite a slight rocky start, where they clashed over Jenna’s vegan lifestyle, the show’s first same sex pairing are still going strong.

They even have a successful podcast together called Life With a Pod.

Jenna shed light on being involved in the show earlier this year when she told us: “We’re not legally married, and I never felt like we were. I definitely feel the process makes you take the relationship a lot more seriously and having the help of the experts… if you can survive that process it sets a firm foundation for a long-lasting relationship.”
