Firstly, director Jiwon Choi sent a heartfelt message to fans, alongside a new song and image from the upcoming DLC. The picture shows the protagonist looking at a tall lighthouse but no other details about the new story have been given. Some have speculated that it could be hinting at something to do with Monstro and the ocean, while others think it could be a challenging boss rush as you climb up. Choi doesn’t share anything about the DLC and instead asks fans: “Can you imagine what new story will unfold?” The second major announcement for the anniversary is that there will be new merchandise for sale. New T-shirt, hoodie and cap designs have been announced, including one featuring the submarine known as Monstro, adding further weight to fans’ theories. The first drop of clothing includes six different T-shirt designs, two hoodies and a cap but there is apparently more to come. However, it’s not only clothes that are on offer, as new vinyls of the game’s soundtrack will be released. Fans can either purchase the full soundtrack which comes on a collection of three gold and black vinyls, or a single. The single is a 7” disc of the track Feel from the album, which is many fans’ personal favourite song from the game.
