Detective Sergeant Rebecca Robinson said at the time: “We know Claire enjoys spending time outdoors, specifically visiting church grounds and historic memorials. “She has many close friends who are growing increasingly concerned for her.” On Sunday, the force confirmed a body had been found in its search for Claire. It posted on X, formerly Twitter: “A body has been found this morning (15 September) in the Silkstone area of Barnsley. “While formal identification is yet to take place, we do believe it to be missing woman Claire Driver. Her family has been informed. “Thank you to everyone who shared our appeals.”
