Frank Warren believes Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk could be a distraction for Anthony Joshua during his fight against Daniel Dubois.

Joshua is headlining at Wembley Stadium once again as he faces Dubois for the IBF heavyweight title on Saturday evening.

During their weigh-in at Trafalgar Square on Friday night, Joshua tipped the scales at 18 stone, while Dubois weighed in at 17st 10lb – a career heaviest for the 27-year-old.

Both Fury and Usyk will be sat ringside to watch Joshua and Dubois in action and Warren, who promotes Dubois, believes that could cause a subconscious issue for Joshua.

‘Usyk will be there, as will be Tyson, but I don’t think it’s anything for [Dubois]. It could be a distraction for AJ as he has beaten AJ twice,’ Warren told Sky Sports.

‘Usyk is the man at the moment, he’s the guy who is top of the tree, and these two are trying to get the winner of the rematch between Tyson and Usyk.

‘They know how important this fight is, and as I say, I believe the winner of this will fight the winner of the fight in December.’

Dubois was stopped in the ninth round by Usyk in August last year but Warren believes the 27-year-old would be ready for a rematch if he beats Joshua on Saturday night.

‘He’s ready to fight Usyk again, I really do believe that,’ Warren said.

‘Having come out of the fight, shared the ring with him and knowing what happened last time, I really do believe he’s ready.’

Speaking after the weigh-in on Friday night, Warren added: ‘It’s a massive fight and we will see fireworks tomorrow.

‘He’s [Dubois] a young man, he turned 27 a few weeks ago and is coming off some massive wins. I’ve never seen him this confident. Tomorrow you will see something special.

‘These two guys will throw bombs at each other and you’ll see something extra special.’
