While Lydia was hesitant at first, Belle pointed out how it had cables attached to it. Emmerdale viewers saw her piece together that Tom knew exactly what was on her laptop because he had been watching her every move. Belle also realised the reason he returned to the house was to flee with the incriminating evidence. Clearly distraught, Lydia told her: “Right come on, let’s get you back to Charity‘s and pack your bags. “And then I’m going to get you back home and you’re going to stay there with me until we find out what the heck’s been going on.” Meanwhile, spoilers for the following episode reveal Lydia will encourage Belle to report their discovery to the police.
