Nish Panesar has been scheming to ruin his son Vinny’s life before he dies of a terminal illness.

The patriarch realised that his son was in cahoots with his ex wife Suki, and became determined to get revenge.

He was initially trying to get Vinny to take the fall for a money laundering scam he was running by sending him to a dodgy location with cash.

Nish then called the cops on his own son, planning for him to be set up as the criminal mastermind behind the operation.

Thankfully Suki managed to warn her son in time and Vinny didn’t go, narrowly avoiding arrest.

However, Nish grew suspicious after his plan failed, and he figured out that Vinny was still in close contact with Suki.

He disguised himself as a taxi driver and took his son to Walford East, getting into a physical altercation with Vinny in the kitchens.

In terrifying scenes, Nish bashed his son over the head with crockery, knocking him to the ground.

He then threatened Vinny with a knife as he lay helpless on the floor with blood gushing from his head.

Thankfully Suki and Nish’s other son Ravi burst into the kitchens just in time to save Vinny.

After their intervention, Nish started suffering from some kind of seizure and collapsed.

Suki considered calling an ambulance to save his life, but decided against it as she remembered everything the villain had done to destroy his own family.

The episode ended with her sipping a glass of wine and watching as Nish fought for breath.

As it turns out, viewers don’t think she was being too harsh – in fact, EastEnders fans are hoping that he does actually die.
