In a Deja-vu like moment back in 2021, Fitness Model Adam got into a similarly awkward encounter when he also mistook the bridesmaid for the bride.

Things got off to a cringe-worthy start as he waited for his bride to appear down the aisle.

Kasia and Kwame had a less than successful Homestay[/caption]

The Homestay stage of the experiment has proven to be difficult for many couples on the show as they try navigate whether their relationship can work in the real world.

In 2022, in one of the show’s most unbelievably awkward scenes instead of taking bride Kasia to his home groom Kwame took her to a park bench instead.

The business owner declared that he was “secretive and private” about his home life and didn’t feel comfortable allowing her or the cameras inside.

Jonathan was slammed by viewers for his opinions on women’s bodies[/caption]

In series 7 fans were left cringing when MAFS Star Jonathan Wileman body shamed his wife Sophie Brown while in a rant about women’s bodies.

The couple were joined at a dinner with fellow married couple Thomas Hartley and Adrian Anderson when Jonathon discussed his views on women working out at the gym.

He admitted: “I don’t want someone who has got horse legs”.

“I never personally want a girl that’s huge like body builder legs and a body builder body and someone that’s really built up.”

An upset Sophie branded her husband as “patronising”, whilst he continued to ignore her concerns and rant about how it was for her own good.

Cast member Thomas hit out at Jonathan exclaiming that he needed to be “more sensitive” to his wife’s feelings.

Whitney and Duka did not get off to the best start

Things between these two newly weds got off to a very sour start when Whitney Hughes lost her wedding ring while on safari in South Africa.

Bride Whitney was less than happy with Groom Duka Cav on her wedding day declaring it as “the worst thing I’ve ever done in my f**king life.”

While on their honeymoon Whitney branded her husband as “fake” and accused him of putting on an act.

In a heated argument the couple clashed over the lost wedding ring and Whitney’s rejection of Duka’s offer to get a replacement.

She exclaimed: “My ring kind of fell off on the safari, I don’t know, when I got off it wasn’t there anymore.”

She continued to protest that she didn’t lose the ring but that it somehow conveniently “lost itself”.

Online Video Fiasco

Peggy and George were one of the shows most memorable couples[/caption]

Glam Bride Peggy Lawrence made waves last year when she gave husband Georges Berthonneau, a shocking ultimatum after a ‘sick’ video of his was exposed.

The reality beauty was disgusted after Georges nervously showed her his infamous squat video on Instagram.

The sports rehabilitator explained that he had a video gaming channel where viewers can set challenges for him to perform on camera.

One of those requests was for him to do a series of squats with his back to the camera.

Less than impressed Peggy was outraged by the online stunt and said that it made her question whether he had a brain.

After watching the clip, George asked her: “So how do you feel after that?”

“Sick. I’m not liking what I’m seeing. It’s weird,” she hit back.

“You think it’s weird but,” he reasoned before she spoke over him: “No, I know that’s weird. More people would think it’s weird than normal behaviour.”

Many fans were also convinced that his twin sister and his bride bore striking similarities[/caption]

This year’s series began with a bang and the first episode was not short of awkward moments when Groom Caspar Todd met his blushing bride Emma Barnes.

After walking down the aisle, Emma was completely ecstatic when she caught a proper look at her new husband.

Speaking to the camera, she remarked: “I mean, he’s pretty much ticked every box that I asked for.”

However, although Caspar did think she was beautiful, there was just one catch.

“Emma, it’s full of energy, big smile, really big laugh. (She’s) a beautiful, dazzling woman.

“But if I’m being completely honest, she very much reminds me of my sister.”

It was revealed later on in the episode that Caspar and his sister used to clash when they were younger because of their personalities.

It didn’t help that Emma and his sister got on like a house on fire at the wedding reception.
