Shopkeeper Kumail Hasane, 19, who was among the first to the scene, told The Sun: “I was in the shop and then I heard a loud crash.“I was the first one there. “We had to lift that car to get her out but no one’s surviving that impact.” Chaudrey Hussein, 45, who works at a nearby garage, added: “It was one of the worst things I’ve ever seen.” Police cordons and road closures were put in place following the crash, but have since been lifted.
