Pete Wicks has admitted he and Jowita Przystal have already been ‘told off’ by Strictly Come Dancing bosses.

The dance partners were officially paired up on last weekend’s launch show, and they’ve been hard at work in the rehearsal room this week before dancing together for the first time on Saturday.

However, the TOWIE star admitted he and Jowita have been given a bit of a telling off by producers because they’ve not actually been sharing updates on social media.

Whereas most of their fellow contestants have been treating fans to peeks at the rehearsal process, Pete and his pro have been too quiet.

‘Right, so, we’ve been told off,’ Pete admitted in a post to his Instagram Story on Wednesday.

‘We’ve been told off because we haven’t done any social media together from rehearsals. So today we’re going to do a Q&A.

He added: ‘So you can ask Jowita and I anything, and we’re going to answer your questions in our little breaks. There aren’t many breaks, to be honest with you, but we will answer any questions. So you can ask us anything.’

Meanwhile, Jowita, 36, also asked her celebrity partner’s followers to help them come up with ‘a team name’ for the new series.

Fans chipped in questions, as one person asked them to name ‘the best thing about each other’.

‘That’s easy for me,’ Pete said. ‘She is a little ray of sunshine, and I look forward to coming here everyday. She makes me happy.’

Jowita added: ‘The best thing about Pete, he makes me laugh so much. And he’s the most hard-working person I’ve ever met in my life.’

She did admit that they haven’t managed to ‘improve’ on Pete’s flexibility just yet, as he flashed a jokingly offended glance her way.

Another fan asked if he could dance, and the reality star teased that while he ‘would say no’, Jowita is ‘quite good though’.

He quipped: ‘Yeah, she’s improving day by day. We’re taking it slow. I have to explain in great detail, sometimes it takes her a while to get it. But I think by Saturday she’ll be ready, fingers crossed. Don’t let me down.’

Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturday, September 21 at 7pm on BBC One.
