EASTENDERS fans are annoyed that show bosses didn’t bring back one character permanently after her over-hyped reappearance ended up being short and sweet.

Viewers started to get excited for Jane Beale’s return to Walford when Bobby mentioned she was coming to help him make a fresh start.

However, this was not to be, as the teen packed his bags and headed to the Cotswolds with his adoptive mum instead.

Jane was driven out of EastEnders in 2017 when Max Branning’s threats forced her to move.

She left her husband Ian a heartbreaking voicemail, confessing: “Oh God, Ian, I’m sorry. I’m so sorry I had to leave like that, I had to fake it.
