CHILD'S PARTY MASSACRE: Gunman on the LOOSE!

A joyous celebration turned into a scene of unimaginable horror last night in Stockton, California, as a mass shooting ripped through a child’s birthday party.

Four people are dead, and ten more wounded, victims of a brutal attack that unfolded during a family gathering at a banquet hall near Sacramento. The victims included both children and adults, shattering the innocence of a festive occasion.

Authorities believe the shooting was targeted, a chilling suggestion that someone deliberately sought to inflict this devastation. The shooter remains at large, sparking a frantic search and a desperate plea for information.

The scene was one of chaos and heartbreak, first responders navigating a car park transformed into a crime scene. Families were left reeling, their Thanksgiving weekend irrevocably marred by tragedy.

Stockton’s vice mayor, Jason Lee, expressed the profound sorrow gripping the community, stating a birthday party should never be a place of fear. His words echoed the disbelief and anger felt by many.

Mayor Christina Fugazzi painted a heartbreaking picture of families gathered at hospitals, clinging to hope for their loved ones. She spoke of a heaven now larger, tragically welcoming those lost in the senseless violence.

This isn’t the first time Stockton has been scarred by gun violence. The mayor recalled a previous shooting years ago where seven people were killed, emphasizing that such events are simply unacceptable.

The District Attorney issued a direct appeal to the shooter, urging them to surrender immediately and to anyone with information to come forward. The community holds its breath, desperate for answers and for justice.

The shooting occurred just before 6pm inside the banquet hall, a space meant for celebration now stained with tragedy. The investigation is ongoing, and the city mourns.

Four people were killed and 10 were wounded in a shooting during a family gathering at a banquet hall in Stockton, sheriff's officials said on Saturday. Heather Brent, a spokesperson for the San Joaquin County sheriff's office, said the victims included both children and adults. Early indications "suggest this may have been a targeted incident," Ms Brent said during a news conference at the scene.
