WHITE HOUSE HACKED? YouTube Star's Livestream STOLEN!

A bizarre incident unfolded late Thursday, as a live investment stream from a YouTube creator unexpectedly hijacked the official White House website. For at least eight minutes, viewers tuning into whitehouse.gov/live were met not with presidential addresses, but with the ongoing broadcast of financial advice.

The stream belonged to Matt Farley, known online as @RealMattMoney, who was in the midst of a two-hour Q&A session about investments. The appearance of his livestream on the government domain sparked immediate speculation about a potential security breach, leaving officials scrambling for answers.

The White House has yet to issue a statement regarding the incident, leaving the question of whether the website was hacked or if the video was inadvertently linked by someone within the government unanswered. The sudden intrusion raises serious concerns about the security protocols protecting one of the nation’s most visible online platforms.

The White House is reflected in a puddle, Dec. 2, 2025, in Washington.

Farley himself expressed disbelief, posting on his social media account, “There’s no way this is real, right? I was just trying to stream with my buddies.” He shared a news article detailing the event, highlighting the surreal nature of his livestream appearing on the White House’s official channel.

This incident isn’t occurring in a vacuum. The current administration and its associated campaigns have faced a series of digital security challenges in recent times, painting a concerning picture of vulnerability.

Just months prior, government officials launched an investigation into a sophisticated impersonation scheme targeting prominent figures. Elected officials and business leaders received deceptive text messages and phone calls from someone posing as a key member of the president’s staff.

Even more alarming, last year a foreign government, identified as Iran, successfully infiltrated the campaign’s digital infrastructure. Sensitive internal documents were stolen and disseminated, including a detailed dossier on the Vice President, compiled before his selection as the running mate.

These repeated breaches underscore a growing threat landscape and highlight the urgent need for enhanced cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive information and maintain the integrity of official government communications.
