The upcoming season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs the World is poised to deliver a surprising mix of personalities, shaking up expectations with its latest guest star announcement.
Chart-topping musician Rag’n’Bone Man, known for hits like “Human” and “Giant,” will be stepping into the Werk Room. This marks a departure from the show’s usual pop-centric guest appearances, offering a unique perspective for the competing queens.
Rory Charles Graham, the artist behind Rag’n’Bone Man, expressed genuine excitement about coaching the queens during the challenging girl group assignment – a segment he personally enjoys.
However, pop music fans won’t be left wanting. The season will also feature JADE, the singer of “Plastic Box” and a dedicated LGBTQ+ ally, returning for her third stint on the judging panel.
Adding international flair, two-time Eurovision winner Loreen will also grace the show with her presence. She previously appeared as a guest judge on Drag Race Sverige, describing her return to the Drag Race universe as a “truly beautiful experience.”
Supermodel Kristen McMenamy and comedian Jayde Adams are also set to reprise their roles as guest judges, bringing their distinct styles and insights to the panel.
These new additions join a previously announced lineup including actress Lucy Punch, actor Will Poulter, singer Anastacia, and the iconic duo from Bananarama, Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward.
The queens will also benefit from coaching sessions with Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt of the Pussycat Dolls, alongside the acclaimed Doctor Who showrunner, Russell T Davies.
This season’s competition promises a global showdown, featuring ten fierce drag performers from across the world. The lineup includes returning favorites Kate Butch, Sminty Drop, and Zahirah Zapanta from Drag Race UK.
Joining them are Mariah Paris Balenciaga (Drag Race US/All Stars), The Only Naomy (Drag Race Germany), Serena Morena (Drag Race Mexico), Minty Fresh (Drag Race Philippines), Melinda Verga (Canada’s Drag Race), Gawdland (Drag Race Thailand), and Fontana (Drag Race Sverige).
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs the World season three is set to premiere, promising a dazzling spectacle of talent, creativity, and unforgettable moments.
