Toddler and dad attacked at random in middle of street --[Reported by Umva mag]
The parent hit his head on a wall as he fell to the pavement, sustaining ‘quite serious injuries'.
A three-year-old toddler and their dad were taken to hospital after the adult was shoved to the ground and badly hurt in an ‘unprovoked’ attack.
The parent was assaulted while walking with the child along Westbourne Grove in Notting Hill shortly after 1pm on Saturday, October 5.
He hit his head on a wall as he fell to the pavement, sustaining ‘quite serious injuries, including bleeding, a fractured eye socket and heavy bruising’, police said.
The Met has released CCTV images of the suspect they say was seen pushing the father.
He is described as a black male aged around 40 and being of a medium to large build.
The man was last seen wearing a blue jacket, blue trousers, with a pair of white trainers and a blue baseball cap.
Both the father and their child have since been discharged from hospital, but they will require further medical care.
The Met said the investigation is ongoing but the incident is currently being treated as ‘an unprovoked attack’.
