Jordan North has declared he knows who is appearing on the upcoming season of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!.

The TV and radio presenter, 34, is currently the host of Capital Breakfast, and formerly hosted shows on BBC Radio 1.

In 2020, he also finished as the runner-up on the ITV reality programme.

Now Jordan has claimed he’s seen the ‘list’ of stars heading into the jungle, including some he could ‘guarantee’ were going in, including a former Strictly Come Dancing star.

On his radio show this week, Jordan didn’t hold back when discussing which celebrities could be campmates this year.

Without hesitation, he confidently listed his top picks.

‘I don’t have any official intel, but I’ve just looked at the list, and I reckon there’s a good few names on there that I can guarantee are going in,’ he teased.

He continued: ‘Oti Mabuse I’m pretty sure of because I haven’t seen her for over a year but I just…

‘I was working with her on Big Brother last year and I’m pretty sure,’ he added.

Jumping in, his co-host Sian Welby added: ‘Oti was originally one of the professional dancers on Strictly, wasn’t she? So, she’s not busy this year – so potentially she could do it.’

His comments come after an ITV star told The Sun last month: ‘Oti is a brilliant name for I’m A Celebrity, she’s hugely popular and well-liked by the ITV audience so bosses are over the moon she could be a campmate this year.

‘She’s very much seen as being part of the ITV family of stars and is always guaranteed to be great fun.’

However, an ITV spokesperson told Metro: ‘Any names suggested for I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! are just speculation.’

Oti, 34, appeared as a professional dancer on Strictly from 2015 until 2021.

During her time on the show she was partnered with Olympic boxer Anthony Ogogo, Hollyoaks actor Danny Mac, Paralympic sprinter Jonnie Peacock, England cricketer Graeme Swann for the Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher and Bill Bailey, winning the series with the last two.

She then went on to become a judge on the ITV series Dancing on Ice.

Meanwhile Jordan was runner-up on I’m A Celebrity four years ago.

However, he did admit at the time he almost walked off the show before being calmed down by co-host Declan Donnelly.

After the first bug-filled group trial, Jordan and EastEnders star Shane Richie were voted by the public to take part in Viper Vault, where they were faced with one of Jordan’s worst fears – snakes.

Viewers saw Jordan panic before the challenge began, however he decided to face his fear head on.

But he later revealed he almost quit the show altogether as he suffered a ‘complete meltdown’.

Jordan said that he didn’t believe the trials would be ‘as bad’ as they were, although they ‘got worse’ as the competition went on.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! returns to ITV later this year.
