Big Brother fans are absolutely fuming after it was revealed which housemates are up for eviction, claiming that it resulted in one of the ‘darkest days’ in the show’s history.

In the aftermath, it’s now been revealed that one of the stars who could be evicted has decided to take matters into her own hands, vowing to quit on her own terms.

During last night’s episode, Khaled, 23, was granted the power to influence the nominations as the head of the house.

In the end, four female contestants were put at risk of elimination – Lily, 20; Ali, 38; Daze, 24; and Martha, 26.

The first eviction on the 2024 ITV series broke a long-running curse, as Ryan, 28, became the first male contestant to be evicted first in 13 years.

But now, fans have to face the reality of a woman being the next to go – and considering how much they love these female housemates in particular, many are raging about it.

The nominations result was confirmed after Lily received six votes, Ali received five, Daze also received five and Martha received a ‘killer nomination’ for Khaled.

On Tuesday, ahead of this evening’s episode, it was revealed in a new update that Ali decides that she’s had enough in the Big Brother house.

After trying to clear the air with Khaled, having suggested that they take the time to get to know each other rather than continue to butt heads – which he claims is an example of ‘disingenuous’ behaviour – she then says: ‘I don’t have an agenda, I’m not staying here, I’m going home.’

‘You don’t know that yet,’ Khaled says, to which Ali replies: ‘No, I’m going home by choice, I’m not staying here.’

Stressing that she doesn’t want to have arguments on TV, Ali then informs more housemates of her decision, before going to the Diary Room to deliberate further.

After the results of the eviction nominations were revealed last night, X user @txbamxnmicxh_s said: ‘This has been probably one of darkest, most disappointing days in Big Brother history.’

‘How am I meant to vote to evict one of these? ???????? I think I’m sitting this vote out,’ added @Liamkc1998.

Fan @mxlinasrina stressed that having ‘four of the most opinionated, outspoken, diverse women’ up for eviction ‘doesn’t sit right with me AT all’.

@jigglypompom added that they ‘don’t want to lose any of these queens this week’, finishing their tweet with a broken heart emoji.

A viewer named @alexanderls3 speculated that the show is going to end with the ‘driest most boring final week at this rate’ if ‘four of the best housemates are the only ones up for eviction’.

Meanwhile, @l0ttiehall remarked that ‘this might be the worst line up for eviction in Big Brother history’.

Many were also left furious with Khaled for using his killer nomination to put Martha at risk of being evicted, with one saying that he would ‘pay for his crimes’.

During last night’s episode of Late & Live, it was revealed that Martha and Lily broke the rules of the house by discussing who they’d nominated, which meant that they’d been placed in the dreaded ‘garden jail’.

Big Brother returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
