He told fans: “As you can see my arm is in a sling and that’s because at the weekend my car broke down at the side of the motorway. “My little boy in the car, so wanted to change the tyre as quickly as I possibly could, to make sure we were safe. “I’m not sure how or what. But it’s been quite painful, although a little better this morning. “So I’m on my way up to London to Harley Street to get a scan done and to get some top medical advice.” One troll was quick to issue a cutting response to Nick’s update. They wrote: “Must be nice to be able to go to Harley Street to get an assessment and scan whenever you want it. “Most people would be on the phone for hours hoping to get through to the GP surgery or sat in A&E only to be put on a waiting list for a scan. Oh, how the other half live.” But Nick hit back: “Yes you’re right – it is. “I’ve lived in my car occasionally & on other peoples sofas at times over last 40 years to keep at TV when it wasn’t paying but recently I’ve done well & been able to pay people back & look after my family including private healthcare. I’m very lucky.” Nick, who is paired with Luba Mushtuk, danced the jive during the first live show on Saturday night and got a score of 18 from the judges. A source said Nick was petrified he would be forced to pull out.
