Footage from a recent incident on the SkyScreamer ride at Six Flags Over Georgia has gone viral, showing passengers suspended high in the air as they wait for assistance.
The video, recorded by a rider and posted online, captures the anxiety of those stuck on the ride, with one person asking, "Why the f--- are we stuck up here, bruh?"
According to reports, the individual who recorded the video got back on the ride two days later, indicating that the incident did not deter him from revisiting the attraction.
Six Flags Over Georgia attributed the episode to a technical delay, stating that the ride's safety system performed as designed and kept all guests safe.
The company explained that the ride experienced a technical delay, similar to a check engine light, which paused its operation for approximately 10 minutes.
Following a thorough systems check, the ride was returned to its loading position, and guests exited the attraction safely.
The SkyScreamer ride, an amusement park swing ride, lifts riders 260 feet into the air, offering a thrilling experience for visitors.
