The provisional cause of death for Darci Rose Gibson, sister of television personality Holly Hagan, has been revealed following an inquest – a tragic consequence of multiple organ failure stemming from an MDMA overdose.
The inquest, opened at Manchester Coroner’s Court, detailed how the 19-year-old had alarmingly high levels of drugs in her system, confirmed by toxicology reports. The events unfolded after a night at Manchester’s Warehouse Project, where it’s believed Darci unknowingly ingested crystal MDMA.
Rushed to the hospital and suffering cardiac arrest, Darci was treated at Manchester Royal Infirmary. Despite the efforts of medical staff, acting senior coroner Zak Golombeck confirmed her death on October 20th. Initial suspicions of drug involvement were tragically validated by clinical findings.
