A former female cop in Georgia has been arrested and charged with producing, starring in and distributing child abuse and bestiality videos.
Cops say that Amber Nicole Ferguson, 34, of Commerce, Ga., was indicted by a federal grand jury on Dec. 2 and arraigned on Dec. 4, citing the U.S. attorney’s office.
Ferguson had been a member of the Athens-Clarke County Police Department and was initially charged in January. She turned herself in on charges of sexual exploitation of children. She was fired from the department following her arrest.
Cops allegedly found child sexual abuse material
According to investigators, the probe into Ferguson began when a family member of two minors informed her department that something was off-kilter with the allegedly kinky cop.
Detectives later allegedly found the suspected child sexual abuse material on Ferguson’s phone. As they delved deeper, they also discovered the twisted bestiality material.
They alleged she produced and starred in the cache of smut.
Both children were under 12, and the bestiality videos featured a horse and a dog. Ferguson has been indicted in federal court on charges including production and attempted production of child sexual abuse material, possession of child sexual abuse material involving a child younger than 12, and production of obscene material, prosecutors said.
Special Agent Steven N. Schrank, of Homeland Security Investigations, described the allegations as “a profound betrayal of the trust and responsibility placed in law enforcement officers.”

If convicted of production or attempted production of child sexual abuse material, Ferguson would face a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison, prosecutors said.
Another alleged bestiality case
Meanwhile, Cassie L. Snay, 26, has been charged with two counts of bestiality and made her first court appearance Monday in Allen Superior Court. She reportedly admitted to cops that they weren’t backing up the wrong tree.
Investigators allegedly found videos on the phone of her boyfriend, a convicted sex offender, showing her engaging in the illegal stomach-churning sex acts over several months in 2024.
The investigation began with police looking into Trey Allan Mettler (the boyfriend) for failing to register as a sex offender. He was arrested in January, and detectives seized two of his phones. Det. Quinton Greer, a sex-crimes investigator with the Wells County Sheriff’s Office, reviewed the iPhone data starting March 3, 2025.
Investigators found multiple social media accounts, about 69,000 images, and 11,000 videos on the phone, including suspected child sexual abuse material. Greer identified multiple photos and videos of Mettler and his gal pal, Snay. He recognized Snay from prior police interactions and knew she had an on-again, off-again relationship with Mettler.
Some of the files allegedly showed Snay engaged in sexual activity with a black-and-tan dog. At least one zoophilia video was recorded at the Motel 6 in Fort Wayne. Other incidents happened at a Fort Wayne home identified by Snay as her mother’s.
On Sept. 19, 2025, cops interviewed Snay, who allegedly confessed to the conduct described in the affidavit and to creating and sending the photos and videos to Mettler. She identified the dogs as “Kota” and mentioned a second dog, “Klaus,” who appeared in some images but was not involved in the acts.
Based on the findings, a judge issued a warrant for Snay’s arrest on Dec. 10.
