PUNK'S NOT DEAD! Sex Pistols Tour REIGNITED – Toronto Date DROPPED!

The raw energy of punk rock is about to explode across North America once more. The Sex Pistols, now fronted by Frank Carter, are resurrecting their highly anticipated tour after a frustrating delay.

A broken wrist sidelined guitarist Steve Jones last year, halting the entire run before a single note could be played. But Jones has recovered, declaring himself ready to unleash the band’s iconic sound on audiences eager for a dose of rebellion.

The tour kicks off September 11th in Dallas, a celebration of 50 years of punk’s defiant spirit. It will culminate October 18th in Los Angeles, leaving a trail of sonic chaos in its wake.

Sex Pistols bassist Glen Matlock, new singer Frank Carter, guitarist Steve Jones and drummer Paul Cook are touring North America in 2025 including an Oct. 1 stop at History in Toronto.

Canadian fans have two chances to witness the spectacle. Toronto’s History venue will host the band on September 21st, followed by a performance at L’Olympia in Montreal on September 22nd.

The rift between the band and original frontman Johnny Rotten (John Lydon) stems from a legal battle over the use of their music in the 2022 film *Pistol*. Despite Rotten’s opposition, the film went ahead, deepening the divide.

Beyond the rescheduled dates, the band has added several new cities to the tour, including Austin, Boston, and Nashville. This expanded itinerary promises to bring the punk experience to even more fans.

Expect a visceral journey through the Sex Pistols’ discography. The band will perform their seminal 1977 album, *Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols*, in its entirety, alongside other explosive tracks from their catalogue.

Jones, with characteristic self-deprecating humor, admitted he’s still working on his stamina. “If I can just stop my legs from buckling up, I think I’ll be in good shape,” he quipped, reassuring fans that the show will go on.

More concert dates are expected to be announced, extending the opportunity to experience this legendary band live. The Sex Pistols, with Frank Carter at the helm, are poised to reignite the flame of punk rock.
