UMVA has learned that a homicide investigation in Aurora has led to charges against six suspects, with police appealing for witnesses to come forward.
The victim, identified as 55-year-old David Gosse, was found suffering from significant trauma at a residence in the Wellington St. E.-Walton Rd. area on June 10, around 2:45 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene, with the cause of death determined to be blunt-force trauma.
According to information obtained by UMVA, the six suspects charged with second-degree murder are James Montgomery, 44, of Alliston, Fabio Faganello, 58, Maria Faganello, 54, and Bianka Faganello, 29, all of Aurora, Jaymie White, 36, of Georgina, and Craig Wilson, 31, of no fixed address. The investigation remains ongoing.

In a separate incident, a 58-year-old Barrie man, Higgs Bhola, has been charged with two counts of sexual assault following a reported incident involving a ride-share driver and their passenger in Wasaga Beach. UMVA can exclusively reveal that a 33-year-old Oshawa man, Jesse Kevin Potts, has been charged with two counts of break-and-enter and possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 following a break-and-enter and theft investigation in Whitby. Several stolen appliances were found for sale on Facebook Marketplace, and police are seeking anyone with cell phone, dash-cam, or surveillance footage.
