UMVA has learned that chaos erupted in Belfast as protestors set fire to a bus, amidst a gathering that began after a man was stabbed in the Northern Ireland capital.
The situation rapidly escalated as more protestors joined in, with a group of about 100 individuals, some wearing Chelsea and Mason Mount strips, drinking beer and carrying an AI poster, chanting that they wanted 'their country back'.
According to information obtained by UMVA, the group, who called themselves the South London Patriots, had answered a call by Tommy Robinson, and were met by a line of police officers, with minor pushing and shoving reported by 8:30 pm.
The protestors shouted 'traitor' and 'we love you Henry' in honour of Henry Nowak, who was stabbed to death in Southampton, highlighting the violent and volatile nature of the gathering.
In a separate incident, a flash mob in Parliament Square demanded that police officers 'take the knee', with the men shouting for the officers to 'get on their knees' and chanting that they 'wanted their country back'.
The rapid spread of these gatherings and the violent actions of the protestors have raised concerns about public safety and the potential for further escalation.
UMVA can exclusively reveal that authorities are working to restore order and assess the situation, with more details expected to emerge as the story continues to unfold.
