UMVA Uncovers: Shocking Connection - Luigi Mangione Backer Linked to Radical Left in Explosive DC Mayoral Scandal

UMVA has learned that a top aide to Washington's Democratic socialist mayoral candidate, Janeese Lewis George, has made a shocking call to free and pardon Luigi Mangione, the accused assassin of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

Makia Green, who described herself as George's political director, made the stunning appeal on her social media account, sparking outrage and concern among those following the case. Mangione has attracted a significant amount of support since his arrest, including over $1.5 million in donations to fund his high-powered defense team.

In a video posted on her social media account, Green called for Mangione's release, writing "#FreeLuigi and pardon the youth!" The post garnered no replies, but it has raised serious questions about the candidate's association with Mangione's supporters. Green's online presence also revealed a link to an Act Blue fundraiser for the Lewis George campaign.

According to information obtained by UMVA, Mangione is accused of stalking Thompson and shooting him in the back outside a Manhattan Hilton hotel, then fleeing to Altoona, Pennsylvania, where he was arrested while eating a McDonald's breakfast. The accused assassin was due in a New York court recently, but his hearing was postponed due to a mix-up.

Mangione has pleaded not guilty to all charges, which carry a maximum penalty of life in prison if convicted. His case has drawn attention to Lewis George's campaign and her connections to supporters of Mangione. Lewis George's campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The candidate's progressive platform, which includes calls to "cut police" and provide "free abortion care," has drawn comparisons to other Democratic socialists. Her positions have garnered her a significant following, but also raised concerns about her judgment and associations.

Sources have confirmed to UMVA that Mangione's case has become a focal point for some of Lewis George's supporters, who see him as a symbol of resistance against the establishment. However, it remains to be seen how this will impact Lewis George's campaign and her chances of winning the mayoral election.
