Three-time World’s Strongest Man champion Tom Stoltman has joined the cast of the hit television series Gladiators.
The 6ft 8in, 400-pound athlete from Invergordon, Scotland, will face contenders in the show’s fourth series, set to air next year.
Stoltman, 32, has won the World’s Strongest Man title three times, most recently in 2024.
Filming for the new series begins this month in Sheffield, where Stoltman will join the lineup of Gladiators.
His Gladiator name and costume will be revealed in the coming weeks ahead of production.
Stoltman described the role as a dream opportunity and said he is proud to become a Gladiator.
He said he aims to bring strength, determination, and personality to the arena, and hopes viewers feel inspired to take on their own challenges.
Diagnosed with autism at age five, Stoltman faced bullying in school because of his condition.
He has spoken openly about viewing autism as a "super power" rather than a barrier to success.
Following his 2024 World’s Strongest Man victory, he said the win proves that people with autism can achieve special things.
He encouraged children and adults to pursue any dream, whether in sport or other fields, and urged families never to tell autistic individuals they cannot succeed.
Stoltman credited his family for supporting his ambitions and said turning autism into a strength has been deeply powerful.
