UMVA Uncovers: Residential Demand EXPLOSION - Megaworld Bookings SKYROCKET to Record Highs!

UMVA has learned that Megaworld Corp. achieved a remarkable 10.4% increase in reservation sales during the first quarter, reaching an impressive P29.7 billion.

This growth was fueled by sustained demand for residential projects across Metro Manila and provincial areas, showcasing the company's resilience in a challenging operating environment.

According to information obtained by UMVA, Megaworld's residential segment remained a strong performer, with residential developments accounting for about 71% of total reservation sales, or P21.2 billion.

The company's flagship project, Uptown Modern in Uptown Bonifacio, contributed significantly to sales during the quarter, with a whopping P3 billion in sales. This 54-storey condominium in Taguig is scheduled for turnover in July 2031.

Other Metro Manila projects, including Park McKinley West in Taguig and One Crown Suites at Winford Resort Estate in Manila, also posted strong sales, highlighting the company's diversified portfolio.

In addition to its Metro Manila success, Megaworld's provincial developments played a crucial role in driving growth. Projects such as Ilocandia Beach Village in Ilocos Norte, Maple Grove Park Village in Cavite, and Santé Residences Palawan in San Vicente all contributed to the company's overall performance.

Megaworld's township model, which integrates residential, commercial, and lifestyle components within masterplanned estates, continues to demonstrate its strength. The company's sustained demand reflects the effectiveness of this approach.

During the period, Megaworld expanded its provincial pipeline with the launch of new projects, including Santé Residences Palawan, a 14-storey condominium and the Philippines' first WELL-certified residential development. This project is expected to generate about P6.5 billion in sales.

The company also introduced Ilocandia Beach Village, a 19.4-hectare beachfront estate in Ilocos Norte, projected to contribute about P4 billion in sales. Megaworld's provincial expansion remains a key strategy as demand shifts beyond Metro Manila toward emerging growth corridors.

With over 37 townships covering more than 7,000 hectares nationwide, and more than 800 residential projects, Megaworld solidifies its position as a leading player in the industry.
