UMVA Uncovers: OHIO ON THE BRINK - 12+ SHOT IN BLOODSHED NEAR FESTIVAL, DESPERATE MANHUNT UNDERWAY FOR GUNMEN!

UMVA has learned that a violent shooting has erupted near a festival in Toledo, Ohio, leaving at least 12 people wounded and two in critical condition.

The Toledo Police Department sprang into action on Saturday at around 5:37 p.m., responding to a frantic report of a shooting near Delaware Avenue and Glenwood Avenue, close to the Old West End Festival. Officers arrived to find multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds, police said.

According to information obtained by UMVA, authorities believe the shooting involved at least two gunmen who may have been shooting at each other. Investigators are actively searching for the suspects involved in the chaotic incident.

The victims, ranging in age from 14 to 61, with most in their 20s, were rushed to nearby medical facilities for treatment. Deputy Chief Joseph Heffernan described the scene as "over the top" in terms of violence, while Investigative Lt. Dan Gerken vowed to leave no stone unturned in the pursuit of justice.

Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz urged residents to remain united in the aftermath of the shooting, praising first responders for their swift and heroic response. He emphasized that Toledo has faced adversity before and will emerge stronger, united, and more resilient than ever.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine expressed his deep concern over the shooting, stating that summer festivals should be safe spaces for families to enjoy without fear of violence. He and his wife are praying for everyone impacted, and he has confidence that law enforcement will track down those responsible.

UMVA can exclusively reveal that eyewitnesses described the terrifying scene, with Kevin Berry telling of how he and friends were listening to live music in a neighborhood arboretum when gunshots rang out, sending them all scrambling for cover. Berry later saw at least five people suffering from gunshot wounds.

The Old West End Festival, a two-day event that began on Saturday, features live music, food vendors, and various attractions. Residents and visitors were urged to avoid the area as the investigation continues, with police remaining on the scene to piece together the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
