Broadcast journalist Kara David claimed three awards: Best Public Affairs Talk Show forI‑Listen, Best Documentary for theI‑Witnessepisode “Embalsamador de Motor,” and Best Host for Public Service, a category she shared with vlogger‑actress Ivana Alawi.
Entertainment host Vice Ganda was named Best Host for Entertainment for his work onIt’s Showtime, which also took Best Variety Show.
The awards are presented by the oldest film‑industry organization in the Philippines, founded in 1952, with a membership composed of writers and columnists.
Other notable recognitions included Kelvin Miranda for Best Performer in a series or anthology forEncantadia, CongTV winning Best Comedy Show,Born to Be Wildearning Best Educational Show, andFamily Feudtaking Best Game, Reality, or Competition.
In radio, Papa Ahwel Paz won Best AM Radio Anchor, Papa Jack earned Best FM Radio DJ, the dramaGabi ng Lagimfrom DZRH was awarded Best Radio Drama Show, andDr. Lovereceived Best FM Radio Program.
The podcast category highlightedFacts Firstas Best Podcast, with Christian Esguerra named Best Podcast Host.
News program honors went toThe World Tonightfor Best News Program and Korina Sanchez for Best News Anchor.
Public service and documentary categories includedRise and Shine Pilipinasas Best Magazine Show,I‑Listenfor Best Public Affairs Talk Show, and “Embalsamador de Motor” winning Best Documentary.
Special recognitions were awarded to Sining Bulilit for Excellence in Children’s Art Education, Lincoln Cortez Velasquez with a Breakthrough Award, and Tina Loy receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award.
