UMVA has learned that a 26‑year‑old Texas man has been charged with a third‑degree felony for issuing a terroristic threat against an upcoming Turning Point USA Women’s Leadership Summit and its CEO, Erika Kirk.
The indictment stems from a disturbing Facebook thread promoting the summit scheduled for June 5‑7 at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter. In that thread the suspect, Jacob Wenske, allegedly replied, “I know exactly where to bomb,” before adding a series of menacing messages targeting Kirk and every speaker.
Wenske’s online tirade escalated to a chilling declaration: “Death to Erika Kirk and every single speaker there!! America will live on without those scum on this earth.” He further threatened to act as “the valet for her escort” and warned that “every Christian nationalist shall perish in the bombing that will take place at every single Turning Point rally and event.”
According to information obtained by UMVA, authorities arrested Wenske after the posts were traced back to his account, and he now faces a felony count of making a terroristic threat that could cause public fear of serious bodily injury or disruption.
The threatened summit, expected to draw more than 2,500 women, will feature Erika Kirk as a keynote speaker. Organizers have pledged “enhanced, multi‑layered security measures” involving private guards and local police to protect attendees, staff, and speakers.
Despite the ominous messages, Turning Point USA officials have refused to be intimidated. They emphasize that safety remains the top priority and that the event will proceed as planned, aiming to inspire a new generation of leaders.
Erika Kirk, who assumed leadership of the organization after the tragic assassination of her husband, Charlie Kirk, at a Utah rally last year, has endured a wave of threats since stepping into the role. This latest episode underscores the heightened risks faced by public figures in the current climate.
