The humiliating moment came when Jeffries appeared on "Good Day New York" to criticize the Trump economy, focusing on the rising cost of gasoline. But co-host Rosanna Scotto swiftly intervened, delivering a devastating reality check that left Jeffries stuttering and stumbling.
Scotto pointed out that gas prices were also sky-high under previous administrations, specifically during the presidencies of Barack Obama and Joe Biden. She noted that the U.S. had gas prices over $5 a gallon in 2022, while Biden was in office.
