The Junior Golf Foundation of the Philippines has unveiled a new national initiative aimed at expanding opportunities for young golfers across the country.
Dubbed the JGFP Community, the program seeks to unite families, alumni, coaches, volunteers, sponsors, and enthusiasts under a shared goal of supporting the next generation of Filipino players.
“Every young golfer’s journey begins with someone who believes in them,” said Oliver Gan, president of the foundation. “Our role is to develop athletes and build a community that supports them every step of the way.”
Members will receive access to community events, volunteer opportunities, updates on foundation projects, and other experiences designed to reinforce the relationships that sustain junior golf.
For decades, Philippine junior golf has thrived thanks to the dedication of families, inspiring coaches, returning alumni, and supportive partners. The new community provides a lasting home for that collective effort.
By turning individual acts of support into a coordinated movement, the initiative aims to ensure that no young athlete is left without a network of encouragement and resources.
The launch is backed by SIGMA Ventures, which emphasizes investing in people to create sustainable impact.
