TORONTO ERUPTS: Hit-and-Run & Shooting – Chaos Unleashed!

A desperate search is underway in Mississauga after a pedestrian suffered critical injuries early Thursday morning. The incident unfolded at the busy intersection of Derry Road and Hurontario Street, leaving authorities scrambling for answers and a fleeing vehicle.

Police report a collision involving two vehicles at approximately 6 a.m., resulting in a woman being struck. While one vehicle remained at the scene, a white sedan – bearing significant damage to its front right corner – vanished, sparking an immediate manhunt.

The injured woman was swiftly transported to a local trauma centre, her condition grave. Investigators closed a southbound lane on Hurontario Street to meticulously gather evidence and reconstruct the events that led to this devastating incident.

Meanwhile, in Toronto, a series of events began with the sound of gunfire in south Etobicoke around 3:30 a.m. Evidence discovered near a commercial property confirmed that shots had indeed been fired, initiating a high-stakes police response.

Officers attempted to intercept a vehicle leaving the scene, triggering a pursuit that culminated in a crash near Eglinton Avenue West and Royal York Road. The occupants, however, abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot, disappearing into the early morning darkness.

Further west, in Hamilton, a black Acura SUV caught the attention of the High Enforcement Action Team (HEAT) on Tuesday. The vehicle was observed travelling at a dangerously high speed, its rear licence plate deliberately displayed upside down – a clear indication of illicit activity.

Officers skillfully contained the SUV, preventing further risk to the public. Despite attempts to escape, all occupants were apprehended without incident. The vehicle was quickly identified as stolen, revealing a deeper layer of criminal activity.

A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered a collection of stolen licence plates and drug paraphernalia. Five teenage boys now face serious charges, including possession of stolen property exceeding $5,000, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and possession of a prohibited weapon.
