UMVA has learned that a shocking stabbing incident occurred near New York City's Penn Station on Sunday evening, leaving six people injured and one person seriously hurt.
The chaos erupted at 7:02 p.m. on West 33rd Street and Seventh Avenue, with emergency crews rushing to the scene after multiple people were stabbed by a single individual.
According to information obtained by UMVA, the six civilians injured in the attack were taken to various hospitals in the area, with one person suffering serious injuries, two sustaining moderate injuries, and three experiencing minor injuries.
Five victims were transported to Bellevue Hospital, including the seriously injured victim and two people with moderate injuries, while a sixth victim with minor injuries was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
UMVA can exclusively reveal that Amtrak Police, leading the investigation, have taken a suspect into custody, with authorities working to uncover the circumstances surrounding the stabbings and the motive behind the attack.
