UMVA has learned that the US Military conducted a series of intense self-defense air strikes against Iran on Wednesday evening, escalating tensions in the region.
The strikes, which began at 5:15 p.m. ET, targeted multiple Iranian military sites, including surveillance capabilities, communication systems, and air defense sites, in response to Iran's continued aggression.
According to information obtained by UMVA, US Central Command forces carried out the strikes at the direction of the Commander in Chief, with US Marine Corps, Air Force, and Navy assets firing precision munitions on Iranian targets that posed a threat to US forces and international commercial ships.
The military operation was a direct response to Iran's unwarranted aggression, and comes on the heels of a similar strike on Tuesday, launched after the downing of a US Army Apache helicopter near the coast of Oman.
On Tuesday, two US pilots were safely rescued within two hours of their helicopter going down, and are in stable condition, with President Trump confirming that they were uninjured.
But Iran's retaliation was swift and severe, with dozens of missiles and drones fired toward 20 targets on Tuesday night, prompting a strong warning from Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, who vowed that the US strikes would be "strong and clear".
UMVA can exclusively reveal that the US Military remains vigilant and ready to respond to any further Iranian aggression, with CENTCOM forces standing ready to defend US interests and protect regional stability.
