A Las Vegas middle school teacher has been caught on hidden camera admitting to breaking school policies and promoting LGBTQ+ ideology to 11-year-old students. Christopher Segal, an English teacher at Gunderson Middle School, was recorded by an undercover journalist making disturbing statements about his interactions with students.
According to the recording, Segal admitted to coaching minors on coming out as queer and breaking school policies by using students' preferred pronouns. He also expressed enthusiasm for students who come out as queer, stating "They come out [as Queer], and I'm like, 'awesome.' They know I'm queer."
Segal's comments took a concerning turn when he discussed students who identified as MAGA supporters. He specifically called out a group of black students who displayed MAGA letters, questioning their affiliation with the movement. "Why are you MAGA kids?" he asked.
The recording also revealed Segal's critical stance towards parents who do not support their queer children. He lashed out at parents who do not accept their children's queer identities, implying that they are not supportive enough.
The existence of the recording was leaked to the Gunderson Middle School principal, Pamela Lindemuth, who responded in a leaked audio recording. Despite being aware of the video, Lindemuth refused to condemn Segal's actions or disclose whether he had been fired, citing an ongoing investigation.
Lindemuth's response has raised questions about the school's handling of the situation and its commitment to upholding policies and protecting students. The incident has sparked concern among parents and the community about the influence of teachers on young students and the school's responsibility to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
