The operation lasted roughly two hours, commencing at 8 p.m. ET and concluding around 10 p.m. ET, according to an official statement.
Dozens of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps facilities were hit, including command centers, missile and drone production sites, coastal surveillance installations, and maritime capabilities.
The attacks were framed as a direct response to an attempted IRGC ballistic‑missile launch on July 28 that targeted U.S. forces in the Middle East and was fully intercepted.
U.S. forces, in coordination with Saudi Arabian air units, also struck logistics and weapons sites in eastern Iraq linked to Iran‑aligned groups after a series of drone attacks over the preceding 72 hours.
More than 50,000 U.S. service members remain deployed in the region, maintaining heightened vigilance and readiness.
