Peter Andrews was released from Al Awir prison in Dubai after a brief detention that coincided with his son’s arrest.
Lee Andrews, 43, was also freed following a second short stint behind bars. Both men are still facing allegations of fraud and unpaid debts, including a £120,000 claim.
The couple had previously attracted legal scrutiny, including a mortgage taken out in a former partner’s name and a travel ban that was later confirmed.

During the period of uncertainty, the wife has stated she is focusing on her career and personal life and has spoken to her husband after his release.
Earlier, Lee’s disappearance raised concerns about his safety. Court documents later revealed he had been jailed over unpaid debts of £54,000 and £15,000 in legal fees.
The case has drawn media attention, but no further developments have been announced regarding the outcome of the allegations.
