PhilWeb Corp. and Travellers International Hotel Group, Inc. have launched NWR Play, an online gaming platform supporting Newport World Resorts’ entry into the regulated online gaming market.
The platform operates on PhilWeb’s Online Gaming Platform, which consolidates gaming content, cloud infrastructure, operations, customer support, and compliance tools into a single environment.
An artificial intelligence layer enables real-time monitoring, risk management, fraud detection, and performance tracking across the system.
The launch forms part of Newport World Resorts’ digital transformation strategy, extending its land-based gaming model into a secure online offering.
NWR Play expands PhilWeb’s roster of regulated partners, which includes Okada Manila, Hann Casino Resort, NUSTAR Resort and Casino, FBM Philippines, and PT Gaming.
Gaming content will be supplied by Pragmatic Play under PhilWeb’s exclusive nationwide partnership with the provider.
The rollout follows a P2-billion strategic investment in PhilWeb aimed at funding its AI technology roadmap and board expansion.
