BIDEN'S SHOCKING BETRAYAL: He Screams Foul After Dad's Get-Out-of-Jail-Free Card!

BIDEN'S SHOCKING BETRAYAL: He Screams Foul After Dad's Get-Out-of-Jail-Free Card!

Hunter Biden openly acknowledged a deep personal bias regarding the pardon granted to him by his father, former President Joe Biden. He readily admits to benefiting from a privilege few experience – receiving clemency directly from a family member holding the highest office in the nation.

The pardon itself ignited controversy, a stark reversal from President Biden’s repeated public statements ruling out any such action for his son. This decision sharply contrasted with long-held Democratic principles emphasizing that no one stands above the law, particularly as Hunter Biden faced serious federal charges.

Biden’s pardon was remarkably broad, extending to any offense “committed or may have committed” between 2014 and 2024. This sweeping scope followed Hunter Biden’s guilty plea to nine federal tax charges in California, stemming from a scheme to evade over $1.4 million in taxes between 2016 and 2019.

Prior to the pardon, Hunter Biden was also convicted in Delaware for falsely denying drug use on a federal form when purchasing a firearm in 2018. He expressed profound gratitude towards his father for the pardon, acknowledging the unique circumstances of the situation.

Despite his personal stake, Hunter Biden turned his attention to the pardons issued by the current administration, sharply criticizing the sheer volume granted by his father’s successor. He pointed to over 1,500 pardons issued in the first year alone, a significant contrast to his father’s approximately 80 pardons over four years.

He suggested the nation’s founders could not have foreseen a presidency like that of Donald Trump, or the dynamics of the Trump family. Hunter Biden conceded he wasn’t the appropriate person to offer an unbiased opinion on presidential pardon reform.

The contrast between the two administrations extends beyond sheer numbers. While Trump did not pardon any of his own children, he did grant clemency to Charles Kushner, the father of his son-in-law, who had served time for tax evasion and other offenses.

Defenders of the former president’s actions have argued that the pardons extended to his family members were necessary to shield them from politically motivated attacks and threats originating from the opposing party. This justification, however, has done little to quell the ongoing debate surrounding the use of presidential power.

The pardon saga continues to fuel discussions about the appropriate use of executive clemency and the potential for abuse, raising fundamental questions about fairness, justice, and the boundaries of presidential authority.
