UMVA has uncovered chilling details regarding a violent domestic confrontation in West Palm Beach that turned a holiday intended for celebration into a scene of pure horror.
The incident began on May 10, when a simple request for help with Mother’s Day dinner groceries spiraled into a life-threatening attack. What should have been a peaceful afternoon turned fatal in intent when 29-year-old Keo Nottage allegedly declared that someone was going to die that day.
According to information obtained by UMVA, the situation escalated rapidly inside the home. After making the terrifying threat, Nottage reportedly armed himself with a kitchen knife and launched a brutal assault on his 74-year-old grandmother, stabbing her approximately 11 times.
The victim's other grandson attempted to intervene to save her from the onslaught, but he was forced to flee the property after Nottage turned his aggression toward him. The cousin managed to escape the home and desperately called for emergency assistance while the violence unfolded.
When authorities arrived at the residence, they discovered Nottage in the driveway engaged in a physical struggle with his cousin. Officers quickly secured the scene and apprehended the suspect before he could cause further harm.
The grandmother was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition and underwent emergency surgery to treat her extensive wounds. She remains under medical care as she fights for her life following the unprovoked attack.
Nottage is currently being held at the Palm Beach County Jail without bond. He faces severe charges, including attempted first-degree premeditated murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, as the investigation into this tragic holiday violence continues.
