A carefree vacation shattered in an instant. Tristan Primeaux-Poitras, just 19 years old, was enjoying a trip to the Dominican Republic when a senseless act of violence stole his life.
The tragedy unfolded in Puerto Plata early Monday morning. Tristan was riding on a scooter with his brother, Etienne, when they were confronted by two men on a motorcycle.
