ROOFERS. ICE. REVENGE: Homeowner's Viral Takedown Shocks the Nation!

ROOFERS. ICE. REVENGE: Homeowner's Viral Takedown Shocks the Nation!

A quiet neighborhood in Cambridge, Maryland, became the unexpected stage for a chilling drama this week. A homeowner allegedly waited until a roofing crew was nearing completion of a job before contacting Immigration and Customs Enforcement, leading to the abrupt detention of six workers.

The unfolding events were captured live on TikTok, transforming a routine home repair into a viral moment of stark reality. Eyewitnesses and the livestream footage reveal ICE agents swiftly securing the property and taking the workers into custody while they were still actively working on the roof.

Bryan Polanco, a Dominican national with legal permanent residency and a member of the crew, documented the entire encounter for nearly half an hour. He wasn’t detained himself, but used his phone to broadcast the unfolding scene and later confront the homeowner directly.

Emergency responders and workers in action at a residential site, with vehicles parked nearby and a ladder positioned against a building.

Polanco’s livestream paints a disturbing picture. He alleges the homeowner was fully aware of the workers’ immigration status from the beginning, yet allowed them to perform three days of demanding labor, including the complete removal of the old roof. Approximately $10,000 in wages remained unpaid.

The video shows agents, clad in tactical vests, directing the workers to descend from the roof. A particularly unsettling moment appears to show the homeowner actively assisting the agents, handing them a ladder to facilitate access to those working above.

Workers were identified by the shirts they wore as being employed by Allied Remodeling of Central MD, though the company has remained silent regarding the incident. The detained men, according to reports, ranged in age from 18 to 40.

In a translated interview with Univision DC, Polanco recounted the homeowner’s chilling words. She reportedly stated she would consistently contact ICE whenever immigrant workers returned to finish any projects. Her intent, he claims, was clear from the start.

“It’s not the same to see it as to live it,” Polanco shared with Univision, his voice heavy with emotion. “I’ve seen many videos, but to experience this firsthand… it’s profoundly moving.” The incident has left a lasting impact, transforming a work site into a symbol of fear and uncertainty.
