CHALAMET'S EMPIRE CRUMBLING: Fandom SHATTERS—Is This the End?

CHALAMET'S EMPIRE CRUMBLING: Fandom SHATTERS—Is This the End?

A devoted fan, once Timothée Chalamet’s most ardent supporter, has publicly distanced herself from the actor, signaling a dramatic shift in his public perception.

Known online as Cromer, this longtime admirer believes a “smear campaign” has taken hold, fueled by recent controversies surrounding Chalamet’s perceived disrespect towards ballet and opera.

Cromer vividly recalls the discomfort of imagining Chalamet subjected to embarrassing jokes at high-profile events, a stark contrast to last year’s celebratory Oscar wins for *Dune Part Two*.

She argues that humor shouldn’t come at the expense of someone’s dignity, especially a guest at such events, and implores Chalamet to maintain a professional facade while privately reassessing his path.

Following the Oscars loss, Cromer didn’t offer consolation, instead reposting a comment that acknowledged the humbling realization of defending someone who’s fallen from grace.

She openly expressed her excitement for Michael B. Jordan’s win, a clear indication of where her allegiance now lies.

Club Chalamet

Cromer points to Chalamet’s perceived arrogance and a flashy campaign as contributing factors to his defeat, contrasting it with Jordan’s more humble approach.

She believes Chalamet’s “tone-deaf self-awareness” is the root of his current predicament, and her years of dedicated support have become unfulfilling.

Cromer calls for a complete overhaul of his team, citing too many “yes people” and individuals prioritizing their own fame over his career.

Her attention has already shifted, captivated by the rising star Connor Storrie from the hit series *Heated Rivalry*.

Despite initial setbacks – a suspended Instagram page dedicated to Storrie – Cromer has persevered, launching a new Tumblr called “Storrie Glorrie.”

Cromer isn’t alone in her disillusionment; others have criticized Chalamet’s “cringe” moments, particularly his defense of his performance as Marty Supreme.

His dismissive comments about ballet and opera, despite a hasty attempt at damage control, further fueled the backlash.

Chalamet’s quip about losing viewership proved prophetic, and now faces a significant challenge in regaining his fanbase.

The fate of his career, and perhaps his remaining supporters, may rest on the success of *Dune: Part Three*.
