A suspect in a violent attack near Berlin’s Pride festival was killed by police after a nearly 24‑hour search. The incident left one person dead and at least 29 others injured.
The manhunt focused on Abdul Ballout, a German citizen of Lebanese heritage. Ballout was located and killed in a suburb of the city following the confrontation.
