HELLISH CONFESSION: Son Butchered Parents, Then DIALED 911!

HELLISH CONFESSION: Son Butchered Parents, Then DIALED 911!

The 911 call shattered the quiet of a Peoria, Arizona evening. A man, later identified as Jonathan Turk, confessed to an unthinkable act: the murder of his parents. The chilling admission, delivered with stark clarity, set in motion a grim investigation that would reveal a history of escalating turmoil.

Fraser and Tina Turk, aged 63 and 56 respectively, were found dead in their home on March 31st. The discovery followed the frantic call placed around 6:29 p.m., where Turk reportedly detailed a brutal attack carried out with a hammer and a knife. His motive, as relayed to dispatchers, stemmed from anger over being placed on medication.

Remarkably, Turk told authorities he would await their arrival outside, calmly holding a water bottle. This unsettling composure contrasted sharply with the violence he had allegedly inflicted. Officers arriving at the scene quickly secured the area and began a meticulous search of the home.

The search yielded the suspected murder weapons – a hammer and a knife – discarded in a trash can within the residence. Turk, however, remained silent after his arrest, refusing to cooperate with investigators seeking answers to the horrifying events.

The case quickly revealed a troubling pattern. Court records show the victims had repeatedly sought intervention regarding their son’s mental health, filing multiple petitions over the years, including three in 2026. These actions painted a picture of a family grappling with a deeply concerning situation.

Prosecutors expressed serious concerns about Turk’s current mental state, highlighting a history of instability. The gravity of the situation was underscored during a court hearing, where the need for careful evaluation was emphasized.

Neighbors reacted with disbelief and a lingering sense of unease. Some admitted to having felt uncomfortable around Turk even before the tragedy, describing a subtle but persistent feeling that something was “not right.” One neighbor recounted actively avoiding him, particularly when her children were present.

A friend of the couple shared a heartfelt tribute, struggling to comprehend the senseless loss. Fraser and Tina Turk were remembered as a devoted couple, a “model couple” who embodied kindness and unwavering support for each other throughout decades of marriage. Their absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt.

Jonathan Turk now faces two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of second-degree murder. His bond has been set at $2 million cash-only, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 9th, as the legal process begins to unfold and seek justice for the victims.
