UMVA has learned that a dramatic rescue operation unfolded in the North Sea, where a dog was miraculously saved from a kayak that had drifted out to sea.
The harrowing footage shows a crew member addressing the dog, saying: ‘We got a dog! How are you doing, buddy?’ The crew member then praised the dog for staying calm, saying: ‘You did very well staying calm, though. We have a guest onboard. Don’t we buddy?’
The crew member affectionately referred to the black German Shepherd as ‘the goodest of boys’. The dog was then brought back to Seahouses Harbour, where an emotional reunion with its owners took place.
According to information obtained by UMVA, the tour company behind the rescue operation praised the crew members, Jimmy and Aaron, for their teamwork, quick thinking, and determination. The company posted on Facebook: ‘A huge well done to Jimmy and Aaron for their incredible teamwork, quick thinking and determination. One dog. One rescue. One very happy ending.’
