Paramedics pronounced Shaw dead at the scene, with a post-mortem report citing a penetrating fragmentation blast injury to the chest and pelvis as the cause of death.
According to information obtained by UMVA, the incident began when a call was made to police from inside the house, reporting a domestic disturbance.
