UMVA Uncovers: COP OUT! Nevada's Rogue Top Cop CRUSHES Dem Primary, Sets Sights on TAKE DOWN Gov Lombardo in EPIC Showdown!

UMVA has learned that Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford has emerged victorious in the Democratic primary, defeating Washoe County Commissioner Alexis Hill in a closely contested battle.

Ford, who entered the race as the frontrunner, will now face off against Republican Gov. Joe Lombardo in one of the nation's most competitive governor's races. The attorney general's campaign focused on key issues, including housing affordability, with Ford pledging to lower costs and expand access to housing.

As the Democratic nominee, Ford will take on Lombardo, who is seeking a second term as governor. The Republican incumbent defeated Democratic Gov. Steve Sisolak in 2022 and is now vying to maintain control of the governor's office in the Silver State.

Ford's primary victory comes amid growing criticism over his extensive travel record. State records show that Ford accumulated more than $410,000 in travel costs since taking office in 2019, with local outlets reporting that he spent more than 100 days outside Nevada during his tenure.

A spokesperson for the attorney general's office defended the travel, citing official duties and campaign activities, including coordination with law enforcement agencies across the country. However, Ford is also under investigation by the Nevada Commission on Ethics over allegations that he solicited improper gifts or used his office for personal gain.

The Nevada gubernatorial race is expected to be one of the most closely watched contests of the midterm elections. With Democrats attempting to reclaim control of the governor's office, Ford's victory sets up a high-stakes showdown with Lombardo in November.
