President Trump to Announce 2020 Foreign Interference Findings

President Trump to Announce 2020 Foreign Interference Findings

President Trump is set to address the nation on Thursday evening, announcing new findings about foreign interference in the 2020 election.

Earlier this week, the former president confirmed a 9 p.m. Eastern Time speech, outlining his plans to discuss intelligence that has recently been declassified.

The briefing will focus on documents that detail how foreign governments allegedly sought to influence the 2020 electoral process.

A White House task force has been convened to examine thousands of pages of classified intelligence and law‑enforcement files for evidence of irregularities in U.S. elections.

Officials expect the task force to release portions of the documents within the coming weeks.

Trump will be accompanied by senior national security leaders, including the CIA Director, the Acting Director of National Intelligence, the DHS Chief, and the FBI Director.

The intelligence reviewed indicates that multiple foreign nations had plans to interfere in the 2020 election cycle.

Earlier this year, the FBI conducted a raid at the Fulton County election office, a move that drew widespread attention.

The Justice Department also issued subpoenas for records from Fulton County election workers, covering roles such as mail‑ballot reviewers, voter panel members, mobile voting staff, and precinct managers.

A federal judge appointed by President Trump ruled the subpoenas unreasonable and quashed them, concluding the grand jury request lacked sufficient justification.
